UV treatment has long been used to handle odor problems. We have further developed the UV technology to cope with high pollution loads in a sometimes very demanding industrial environment.
UV technology works by breaking up bonds in the organic molecules, thereby changing their chemical composition and odor potential. It also lowers the overall VOC level in the process gas. UV technology can thus be very effective on gases and very small particles, provided it is properly designed and dimensioned
The UV reactor has minimal pressure drop or degradation and there are no filters that need to be replaced. The system can be designed to handle very large flows.
