French fries odour results verified at full flow
Previous test results at a french fries frying plant were verified at full flow. This odour installation using a combination of oxidation stages was proven to give the results reached during test work also at full process flow.

February 2013Odour removal project Potato frying
A project is initialized with a northern european customer to improve odour removal of the exhaust and at the same time cut energy consumption.
January 2013Long term test on biogas production
A longer term test is initialized to look at the field performance of different configurations of odour removal equipment. This field installation is intended to run over 6 months initially with regular sampling during the installation time.
December 2012Waste odour removal installation
An odour removal installation is finalized on a Waste Water treatment plant in Scandinavia. The installation uses oxidation + active carbon and treats an air flow of 7500 m3/h.
November 2012Coffee odour removal project started
A project is started to implement a full scale installation for high performance odour treatment for coffee roasting. The solution is based on Centriair research work at KTH and field testing on site. This solution has no combustion and thus reduces running costs substantially.
October 2012New Energy recovery plant operational
A New Energy recovery and Emissions treatment installation is put into operation. The installation treats fumes from three frying lines with a total flow of 22 500 m3.
September 2012Centriair opens new Gothenburg office
Centriair has opened an office in Gothenburg, at Industrivägen 39 in Sävedalen. Here, Per Kaijser, Simon Carlsen and John Dahl are stationed.

We welcome Simon Carlsen
Simon Carlsen has joined Centriair as a design engineer. Simon has a degree in mechanical engineering from Chalmers and has useful knowledge and experience, for instance from the waste water industry.
June 2012Energy recovery from industrial process
Centriair has started a joint project to recover energy from a polluted industrial exhaust gas stream. The potential energy recovery is above 3 MW. The project starts now with the aim to have a solution installed first half 2013.

Roberto Lanza wins the 2012 fishing competition
Roberto Lanzo from KTH wins the 2012 Centriair personnel fishing contest, catching a 7 kg pike in the archipelago of Stockholm. Congratulations Roberto!
April 2012Emission treatment and Energy recovery order
An order is signed to deliver Emission treatment and Energy Recovery for an industrial frying customer in northern Europe. The treated air flow is 22500 m3/h and the installation is scheduled for autumn 2012.
March 2012Odour Research
As a part of the research project together with KTH on odours, Hugo Royen, a Master student in chemistry joins the research team. Hugo will run a Master thesis project within the KTH group until the summer.
February 2012Energy recovery order
To improve the environmental excellence and reduce cost, Centriair will install an energy recovery solution for a large frying customer in Scandinavia. The installation will be done during the spring.

Henrik Blom joins the Centriair team
Henrik Blom joins Centriair working with sales of Odor Removal from Biogas, Waste handling and Water treatment. Henrik Blom has a M. Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology. Henrik has a wide experience from air treatment and pollution treatment having worked within Perstorp AB with catalytic gas cleaning as well has aerosol separation within 3nine AB..

August 2011Waste Odor Treatment order
Centriair has been selected to treat 72 000 m3/h of Waste Treatment Exhaust air in Gothenburg, Sweden. The project starts in August and runs through the autumn.

Following up on our close work together with our customers to reduce the environmental impact as well as costs of production, we have teamed up with the University of Lund to study the chemical reactions behind the creation of FFAs and how these might practically be slowed down.

April 2011Raised Odor Removal Capacity
New developments in close cooperation with university researchers has led to a substantial raise of the performance of our Odor Removal Solutions. Test work during the spring on different application and locations have shown odor reduction levels of 80-96%(depending on application and power used).
March 2011Oil treatment
Oil discharge turns out to be a large cost for several of our customers. With an extensive experience within liquid separation and filtration it was a natural step for us to introduce particulate removal from the fryer oil in our portfolio.
February 2011Energy saving on fryer burner
As part of an energy saving project, a change of the flow sheet on a fryer oil burner realized by Centriair resulted in a >350 kW saving, reducing the annual fuel bill with over 130 k Euro. Installation image 1, Installation image 2.
January 2011Centriair is selected for Vinnova research program
Centriair is awarded research funding for 2011 and 2012 from the Vinnova program Forska Väx (meaning Research and grow), stage 2. Vinnova is the Swedish Innovation agency. This selection is highly important for Centriair, meaning we can continue our high pace in our research activities. More info here.

November 2010Energy Recovery installation finalized
Centriair finalizes an energy recovery and particle removal installation at the largest crisp frying plant in Scandinavia. The installation treats 12 000 m3/h of fryer exhaust air, it removes particles from the air and extracts energy used for building heating as well as in the process.

Centriair receives order from a major potato crisps producer in Scandinavia for air cleaning and energy recovery. The solution will enable the producer to do a substantial yearly saving on oil and gas consumption.
